Day 2

Day 2 of 1% Better.
Today, I spent time refining my understanding of Git/GitHub.
1. Version control is basically a way to track changes in a project over time, so you can compare, revisit, or restore work when needed.
2. Git is a distributed version control system, which means I have a full copy of the project history on my machine.
3. Git and GitHub are not the same thing. Git helps manage history locally, while GitHub is where you can host repositories and collaborate with others.
4. Git isn’t really a backup tool. It’s more about tracking changes, keeping history, and making teamwork easier.
5. Git has become the industry standard for version control because it's fast, flexible, and makes it easier for multiple developers to work on the same project.
