Day 35

Here’s a simple way that can make your writing easier to follow
The F-pattern.
When people visit a webpage, they usually don't read everything from beginning to end.
They scan.
Their eyes often move in horizontal movements across the top of the page, then across another section. After that, they tend to move vertically down the page, looking for something that catches their attention.
🤔 So what does this mean when you write?
A few points:
1. People want to find the useful part quickly.
2. They often scan before deciding what to read.
3. They look for information that answers their question.
🤔 So how to write that stands out?
- Start with the main idea instead of a long introduction.
- Use BLUF(Bottom Line Up Front) give the key point first, then explain it.
- Keep sentences and paragraphs short so they're easy to scan.
🎯 My takeaway: AI is here to stay. But the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly matters perhaps more than ever because these skills help us think critically.
