Day 5

Day 5 of 1% Better.

Today, I spent time understanding Model Context Protocol (MCP).

A few things I learned:

1. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that helps AI
applications connect to external tools and data sources.

2. Instead of building a separate integration for every AI application, MCP provides a common way for them to communicate with tools.

3. MCP follows a client-server model. The AI application acts as the client, while tools like GitHub, databases, and local files can be exposed through MCP servers.

4. It's simply a protocol that helps AI interact with the outside world.

5. The easiest way I understood it: MCP is like USB-C for AI. One standard that lets AI connect to many different tools.
